Our Story
Sisters Organics started in our backyard with a simple problem: we were growing more vegetables and herbs than we could use. Instead of letting the extra go to waste, we set up a small stand to share our harvest with neighbors.
What began as a childhood project quickly grew into something much bigger—a way to connect with our community and give back.
Over time, our little stand evolved into Sisters Organics—a place where we now share not only our homegrown produce but also handmade creations, such as herb butters, garden-fresh potted plants, and seasonal treats. Every product is rooted in the same idea that started it all: sustainability, creativity, and care.
Today, half of every sale is donated to charity, so the impact of each purchase extends far beyond the garden. For us, this is more than a small business—it’s a way of bringing people together around good food, meaningful giving, and the joy of growing something from the ground up.
Impact
At Sisters Organics, we turn homegrown vegetables, herbs, and homemade products into more than just delicious items—we turn them into action against food insecurity. Every purchase helps reduce food waste and supports The Food Bank of Lower Fairfeild, an organization that provides meals and resources to families in need. Beyond donating profits, we host community events, workshops, and garden initiatives to raise awareness, engage others, and directly support local families facing food insecurity. Through our products and events, we aim to nourish both people and communities.
